Women Health Executives Network (WHEN) is a not-for-profit professional organization founded in Chicago in 1981 by a group of professional women health care executives who recognized a need for professional exchange and contact with other professional women in the heathcare field. WHEN , “An Affiliate of The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Womens Healthcare Executive Network”, provids healthcare executives with opportunities for professional development through educational and social activities. There are 82 ACHE chapters and 6 Women’s Healthcare Executive Networks in the United States.

WHEN is Chicago’s premier healthcare community providing a diverse forum for the advancement of women leaders. As one of the only six ACHE women’s chapters in the United States, WHEN provides a tremendous opportunity for women healthcare leaders to network. It also offers several professional development seminars to enhance their careers throughout the year.
