Women Health Executives Network (WHEN) is a not-for-profit professional organization founded in Chicago in 1981 by a group of professional women health care executives who recognized a need for professional exchange and contact with other professional women in the heath care field. WHEN is an independent affiliate of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Women’s Healthcare Executive Network. There are 82 ACHE chapters and 6 Women’s Healthcare Executive Networks in the United States. WHEN is a tax exempt 501(c) (6) corporation.
